Visit to Cinque Terre

The coastline of romantic Italy is lined by a string of small towns and villages. Cinque Terre, a string of five fishing villages, is the most iconic of them and must be included in your bucket list 2019, for your upcoming travel ventures.

How to reach?

The rough Italian coastline is a shelter to isolated villages of Cinque Terre with its most spectacular appearance. There are many modes of transport by which you can access the place. You can fly to Pisa International Airport and once in Italy, the best way to move around is by boarding trains. The Cinque Terre Express runs from station La Spezia and Levanto and stops at all the five villages. But the most adventurous of the lot is a ferry ride from La Spezia, Levanto, Portovenere and Lerici in the months of March to October.

Travel and Lodging Advice

The villages are all on a stretch of hilly zones so walking is the one and the only option available. Be sure to be light on your luggage as you might have to climb a lot of steps. The place is an absolute paradise for a hiking trip in your bucket list.
Cinque Terre Town, Italy
All the villages are close to each other and can be travelled to by train. Since the most widely available are private home stays, you might just start searching them up prior to your visit. Monterosso, the largest of them all is divided between the old and new towns. It is the flattest and has long sandy beaches. Vernazza is a perfect choice if you are not the hob-nob loving person. Being the most picture perfect the location and also windy, the place is best for a romantic getaway. Corniglia is the smallest and tucked into the cliffs. This is the only village that doesn’t touch the sea and takes a 350 step climb from the station to reach. Manarola and Riomaggiore are also famous for their iconic coasts and colourful houses. There are lots of causes available to add Cinque Terre in your travel bucket list.

And Food!

The place is creeping with good restaurants coupled with breathtaking views if you just know where to look for. Way up at the top of Manarola are lanes of the best Italian restaurants. If the 350 steps of Corniglia doesn’t bother you then you would be greeted by a chain of restaurants serving the best Italian platter. Monterosso is famous for its anchovies.

List of Popular To-do Things

As said earlier hiking is the most common sport among visitors. But if that doesn’t thrill you enough then snorkelling or scuba diving in the clear waters is also available. A boat tour to the nearby islands is also possible but may be suspended due to rough seas. As the staple profession of the place was wine making so vineyards too can be a popular choice of the visit.

The true flavours of the Italian Riviera with its collection of the famous five hotspots are amazing, and also beyond thrilling. The place will surprise you in many breathtaking ways.

The Art of Kenjutsu

Kenjutsu is a samurai art that evolved in Japan. Learning Kenjutsu, is a unique wish you must include in your bucket list 2019. Kenjutsu was formed around 15th Century, to train Samurai warriors. Later, it became a part of the Ninja society. Kenjutsu is a process to learn the skill of sword-fighting. It includes fighting with the swords. The sword used in this battle is popularly known as Katana.

How to learn Kenjutsu?
There are many institutes which train you in the form of Kenjutsu. You can practice Kenjutsu alone, or with a partner. If you train yourself alone, it would help you in developing physically and also, to improve yourself in a better way. Your body will become more agile and stronger than before. If you put your dedication and loyalty towards learning Kenjutsu, you would become the master in couple of years. The master of Kenjutsu is known as Kenjutsuka. You have to change your lifestyle entirely and adapt into a more disciplined way of living.

To learn Kenjutsu, you require a professional mentor who would train you. But, if you are unable to get hold of an instructor in your locality, you can avail for other options too. You have to train yourself by watching videos or reading books about Kenjutsu. You would be able to learn the art form without any hurry or any schedules.
Kenjutsu Art
Swords used in Kenjutsu
The most important sword that is needed for Kenjutsu is Katana, as mentioned earlier. Katana is also used in different martial arts, other than Kenjutsu. The art of properly managing the sword with respect is called as Teito. But, you must not use Katana early in your training. You might end up hurting yourself. Firstly, you have to use a wooden sword, namely bokkeh to train yourself. But, if you are uncomfortable with wooden swords, you might also purchase yourself a sword of bamboo which is covered by leather, known as Shinai. But, you should keep in mind, to learn Kenjutsu is not just about fulfilling one wish of your bucket list, it is also a journey to find your inner self and achieve strength, mentally and physically.

Safety comes first
You need to be very careful while handling the swords and fighting the battle. Though bokkeh is comparatively safer than the other swords, it still can break your bones, if not used properly. First, you need to learn about the sword, in detail. Then, you need to train yourself properly in holding the sword, so as not to get injured. Once you are comfortable with the sword, it becomes your best ally, throughout your life.

Kenjutsu is not an easy martial arts to learn quickly. To learn Kenjutsu, your mind needs to be cleared of each and every thought. You don’t have to become religious to learn the art form, but all you need to have is a dedicated willingness to change for the better. You need to be your biggest critic and only then, you would be able to learn Kenjutsu.

Bungee jumping – a mandatory try!

Adventure sports are really big these days. People all over the world are getting into adventure sports as we speak and among them, bungee jumping is probably the biggest. The sport is very thrilling as it involves an elastic cord which is tied to the waist of the person and then he or she jumps from a cliff or from a steep edge.

It is the crowd’s favorite
A lot of people have this in their bucket list and they are dying to try this out. But this sport isn’t for people who have heart problems or have a fear of heights. The best part about this sport is the thrill that it provides. Regardless of your age, the thrill which you will experience from this sport is something else entirely. This is the reason why so many people have this on the top of their bucket list. Every year, tons of people try this out and they have an experience of a lifetime. Although this might seem a bit dangerous, it has a pretty good safety record and trained professionals will be by your side at all times.

Bungee Jumping - Try once in your lifetime
It is a guarded procedure so no worries!
The equipment is very durable and you don’t have to worry about the elastic cord at all as it is made from state of the art material. If you have this in your bucket list then you should definitely try this out as soon as you can and once you do, you won’t be able to shake off the thrill. You will come back for more. I have a bucket list in which bungee jumping tops the list and I can’t wait to try this out. This won’t cost much and even if you are low on cash you can try this out. This sport originated as a manhood ritual but now it’s all about the fun of the jump. As I have mentioned before, people with certain problems should avoid this altogether. If you have high blood pressure,  a neurological disorder or diabetes then I’m sorry to say that you won’t  be able to check this off of your bucket list anytime soon. There is no age limit for this sport. As long as your fit and healthy you’re good to go. But there is a weight limit which is around 110kg.
The whole world is in love with it
Bungee jumping is done across the world and you won’t have any trouble locating a place where bungee jumping is done. Unless of course, you’re from India as in India there is only a single place which plays host to this thrilling sort. And if you’re a person who has just got into adventure sports and bungee jumping tops your bucket list then you should just find a place and do it.

Don’t think too much about it just go and do it. The more you think the more inclined you will be to just sit and watch because let’s face it, nobody would want to jump from a cliff at first even if it is a sport.

Visiting the Ganges

A Bucket list is a list of things which a person hopes to achieve during his lifetime. The reason why people make this list is that it helps them to stay motivated. This list is usually comprised of things which would take some time and money to achieve but sometimes people have these unusually unique ideas which are amazing yet easy to achieve.

Different kinds of bucket list ideas

Some people love to travel and their bucket list is comprised of things related to travel. Today, it has become a lot easier to travel as there is a multitude of apps from where you can just book a flight and go to your desired place within hours. But in order to do this, you will need to have a bucket list and to do that you will need to learn how tomake a bucket list.

Some people are very religious and they want to travel all around the world to gain spiritual knowledge. And it is people like these who want to visit the river Ganges. This river is in India and a lot of people visit this river to wash away their sins. If you’re a spiritual and religious person then you will surely have this in your bucket list.

Though many people have a bucket list they often forget to save up for their dreams. You need to keep track of your savings and make sure that by the end of the month a portion of your salary goes to your travel bucket list. Only then will you be able to visit the Ganges because without money there is no way any person would be able to travel.

The almighty Ganga

The Ganges river is quite beautiful and it attracts tons of people every year. Though it might be a little polluted now, it doesn’t stop the tourists from taking a dip in it or gather near the banks to offer their prayers. So if you really want to go then you must keep a few things in mind. The banks of the river will be really crowded and chances are that you might lose your way to the hotel. You should always keep your valuables at the hotel as if you carry them with you then someone might steal them from you. And this really happens so you have to be really careful. Theirs also the issue with tides. It’s hard to predict when the tide will be high or low and it is for this reason that you should not go too deep into the water as you will surely drown. But instead of all this, the river is still beautiful and the aartis that take place on the banks during the night is truly a wonderful sight. And if you still can’t manage to travel now then don’t worry to much as India is not that expensive and if you’re still confused about how to save or make a bucket list then refer to the apps and different websites on the internet.

Attending A Boxing Match

As a young child, you would have shared TV screen with your siblings to watch a boxing match and probably, you would have fancied watching a live boxing match where you are surrounded by the horde of the crowd, shoving their way and screaming for their favourite player. Indeed, we all have our bucket list and ticking things off gives us a sense of accomplishment, thrill and excitement. In fact, you can call it to be a journey full of emotions where we have reached our destination through our itineraries. To tell you the truth, a bucket list feels incomplete without attending a boxing match between two veterans, chasing the championship.

The impact of a knock-out punch, the crowd cheering and screaming, the feeling is surreal. Boxing portrays the spirit of true sportsmanship and the journey from being an amateur to a championship contender. It's hard to imagine yourself in their shoes and what it takes to be at their place, holding head high and championship belt in their hands. For that reason only, Boxing is considered to be one of the best sports to witness.

The drama that unfolds, the rivalry that is intensified portrays how determination and willpower are stronger than the physical strength. Being an individual game, you learn to have self-control and only you bear the responsibility of losing or winning. Indeed, Boxing promotes the culture and one of the beautiful sports you can ever witness. A strong brain and a strong body working together can move the mountains and that’s what makes boxing, wonderful sports. Emotions, tactics, strength are the prerequisite and what’s more important is how you are going to channel these skills and stand out from the rest of the crowd. Adding attending boxing match to your bucket list is worth your time, money, experience and joy.
Wish to attain a boxing match
Normally, the bucket list of people ranges between skydiving to mountain climbing but only a few realize the necessity of adding a boxing match to their bucket list to get valuable insight, experience the surreal feeling, thrill and joy of a knock-out punch. Well, if you have not adjusted your bucket list yet, we never know when you will. One of the glorifying events is clamoring and inviting you to witness, two veterans competing against each other for the championship belt. By this time, probably you would have imagined how it feels to stand inside the boxing arena, holding your head high, crowd chanting loud for you to win. Indeed, this feeling is inexplicable.

So, before you turn old while ticking things off your bucket list, make sure you have attended a live boxing match. You don't know when your toddler asks you how it feels to attend a boxing match. There are a few things that you must experience before you die and attending a boxing match is one of those things. If you have not added this to your bucket list, you might feel something missing from your life, which will be deeply felt and eventually, you might regret and that's something we don't want to happen to us.
