Swimming with Wild Dolphins!

Dolphins are aquatic animals, known worldwide for their swiftness and their jolly nature. There are around five types of species of dolphins in the whole world. Dolphins never live alone; and also, when it comes to swimming, most of us can’t ignore the fact that they’re the best divers in the world. But, ocean is their natural habitat, and for us swimming with them, is a point of the bucket list that we all have. There are many wild Dolphins, for example, spotted, or bottlenose and also, spinner. To swim with them, we need to understand their working and their characteristics, too. The experience of swimming with the wild Dolphins is what most people seek. The interaction and the whole affair with the dolphins are way more fun than it seems.

Are the wild dolphins safe?
Dolphins are carnivorous aquatic animals, and mostly they feed on squids and also smaller fishes. They are very fun-loving and they are popular for their quickness. They are also more clever and quick-witted than the humans. You won’t be able to control their actions or their wishes, whatsoever. You would have to let yourself be and enjoy with what they are doing, rather than trying to manipulate their actions. Most of the times, you would find the wild dolphins leaping up and that’s how, you would enjoy the whole experience, and tick off the point from your bucket list. One thing, which is very important, is not to panic. The wild dolphins won’t harm you until and unless you don’t harm them. All you need to do is take a long breath and forget all about the danger and the consequences and just enjoy. Once your mind is completely out of fear and dilemma, you would find yourself interacting with the dolphins and enjoying the experience. But, once you start to panic, the whole situation might get messed up and you would probably not have a good time, later.

When’s the perfect time to swim with the wild Dolphins?
The perfect months to swim with the wild dolphins differ from one place to another. For example, in the Red Sea, the months of autumn and spring are the best time to go swimming. Avoiding the winters is the best decision to have a beautiful time there. Also, in the Azores, you would be able to see the Dolphins whole year round, but it’s best to skip the winter time. From May to September, you would have the best time in the Azores to go for as many swims as you want with the wild dolphins, as you had written in your bucket list.

In the ocean, you would experience a lot of activities by the wild dolphins. You would also experience their behaviours and get to know about their natural characteristics. So, once you get down in the water, and start interacting with the wild dolphins, you would actually enjoy the whole experience. There’s nothing more breath-taking than swimming with the wild dolphins in the midst of the wide ocean.
